Dynamics 4.0 CRM Import Data Wizard - Umlaute

Hello,

the Import Data Wizard works fine with importing Excel files. The problem is that the German special charakters (Umlaute) like ä, ö, ü, ß are not correctly displayed in the Accounts and Contacts that I import. In the Excel files they're displayed correctly.

Does anyone has an idea how to fix this? Your help is much appreciated.

this is a german speaking forum, so you should ask your questions in German.

When you create the CSV-File for the import you should save it in ASCII-format, then the import should work.
